Discovery Senior Living in Blair, Nebraska is seeking a compassionate Care Giver/Med Tech to support residents in a safe, home-like setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents’ well-being, and respond quickly to calls, helping maintain dignity and independence.

This role includes light medication assistance under supervision, teamwork with nurses, and strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during shifts and check on them regularly.
• Observe and document changes in residents’ condition and report to supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and alerts.
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas; uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with meal service and support for continence management.
