What You'll Do:
  • Medication Buddy: Ensure residents receive their medications as prescribed, acting as a helpful friend.
  • Document Manager: Maintain and organize medication carts, monitor supplies, and keep accurate records.
  • Communication Champ: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and team members about medications and any issues.
  • Build Relationships: Form meaningful connections with residents, providing companionship and trust.
What You Bring:
  • State Licenses/Certifications: Obtain and maintain required licensure or certification to be a Medication Technician.
  • Knowledge of Medications: Understanding of medication types, administration routes, and management practices.
  • Training and Continuing Education: Willingness to participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with nursing and other team members.
Working Conditions:

This role involves providing medication assistance, emotional support, and care in a compassionate, often physically demanding environment.
