Charter Senior Living of West Bend, WI is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician / Med Tech to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. Starting pay is between $19-$21/hr with 8-hour shifts and must be CBRF certified.

The ideal candidate will have assisted living or memory care experience and a patient, detail‑oriented approach. Join a team dedicated to dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Med Tech certification as required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and medication safety practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and company policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Support implementation of individualized resident care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with medication management and safety procedures.
• Support a positive, team-oriented care environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Position Summary

The Medication Technician / Med Tech plays a vital role in supporting the health, wellness, and quality of life of residents within our Assisted Living and/or Memory Care communities.

This position is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication administration and management, implementation of resident care plans, clinical documentation, and communication with nursing and caregiving teams.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, dependable, and passionate about serving seniors with dignity and respect.
