Job summary

Castle Rock Home Care is seeking a Medication Technician for our Wappinger Falls site. The role involves handling medications in a resident-focused environment with training provided. Prior experience is a plus, and strong adherence to protocols is essential for safety.

Applicants should be highly organized, capable of following MAR procedures, and able to document accurately. Licensing or certification is preferred, and full-time employment is offered with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration in Adult Care Facility or ALP setting preferred.
• Knowledge of assisted living/ACF DOH Regulations.
• Able to follow direction and protocol after training.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Compucare and Framework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with the utmost respect.
• Pour meds according to the five rights.
• Understand MAR thoroughly.
• Document properly as trained.
• Inform supervisor of any medication issues.
• Order and store medications.
• Properly refill regular and narcotics medications.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Adult Home Facility is looking for an energetic candidate to work in our Medication Department. Prior experience is a plus, will train!!

• Prefer previous experience on medication administration in Adult Care Facility or ALP setting
• Knowledge of assisted living/ACF DOH Regulations
• Must be able to follow direction and protocol after training
• Highly organized, and attention to details
• Knowledge of Compucare & Framework is a plus
