Job summary

Meridian Senior Living seeks a Med Tech to assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines. You will maintain care records, report changes in conditions, and interact professionally with residents, families, staff and vendors to ensure safety and satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification, and at least one year of experience with medications and the elderly, plus state licensing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Minimum of one year experience with medications and elderly population.
• Must possess required licenses/certifications per state licensing authority.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Compassion and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, vendors and the public.
• Honesty, fairness, dependability, and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
