Job summary

The Residence at Willow Grove in Willow Grove, PA is hiring Medication Technicians to provide safe medication assistance to residents. Roles include accurate documentation and supportive care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, recording vital signs, assisting with admissions and transfers, and maintaining MARs and logs. Requirements include HS diploma, 18+, completed MT training, and care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Technician Training Program required.
• Minimum of one year direct care experience with older adults in long-term care required.
• Previous Medication Technician experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Home Health Aide or CNA certification preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, assessment and drug test.

Starting Pay: $20.00/hr - 1st Shift | $21.00/hr - 2nd and 3rd Shift (based on experience) ~Additional $1 per hour for active CNA license

Schedule: Hiring for All Shifts (Multiple Openings) | Part-Time | Every Other Weekend

The Residence at Willow Grove is seeking Medication Technicians, also known as Medication Associates, Med Techs, or CMTs, to provide safe and compassionate medication assistance to our residents.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare, administer, and accurately document oral, topical, and suppository medications
• Take and record resident vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure
• Administer PRN medications as directed
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records, controlled substance logs, resident records, and Move N documentation
• Provide compassionate support while promoting resident safety and well-being

Requirements:
