Sagora Senior Living Briarview in Carrollton, TX is seeking a compassionate Med Tech for a full-time role at Briarview community. Administer medications under nurse supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain residents’ dignity and independence.

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed under nurse supervision.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications.
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Assist in dining, escorting residents, serving, and cleanup.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.

What does a Med Tech at Sagora do?

• Administer and accurately record administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under supervision of a nurse
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
• Manage supply of medications
• Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery

• Assist in dining including escorting residents to dining room, serving, and clean up

What do you need to be a Med Tech?
