Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Med Tech to administer medications, assist residents with daily living, and help maintain dignity and independence at our Lyndale Abilene community in Abilene, TX. CMA certification is optional as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience passing meds in a retirement community setting is preferred.
• CMA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician under nurse supervision.
• Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
• Manage supply of medications and maintain accurate accounting of all meds.
• Care for residents' personal needs, safety and comfort; assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist in dining, transportation, laundry, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition; conduct rounds to monitor hazards and incidents.
