Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Walnut Creek is seeking a Part-Time Medication Technician to administer medications and provide personal care to residents, working with nursing standards and company values. Responsibilities include coordinating with pharmacies and physicians and maintaining resident records.

The role requires 1 year of RCFE medication assistance preferred, HS diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks; LVN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess written and verbal communication skills for interaction with staff, residents, and families.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) or similar programs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
