Job summary

Fox Run at Orchard Park is seeking a Medication Technician to deliver routine daily medications to residents under the supervision of the Program Coordinator or Charge Nurse. You will coordinate with nursing staff to assist with resident care and medications.

The role requires a Medication Technician certification or completion of NYS training, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with computers and medical software. Prior assisted living experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to use computer, medical software, and word processing programs.
• Medication Technician certification or completion of required NYS training prior to start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior Med Tech experience preferred.
• Experience with Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Under the general direction of the Program Coordinator and/or Charge Nurse, deliver routine daily medication to residents, coordinate with nurses to assist with resident care and medications, follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications and record dosages and times.

Requirements

• Medication Technician certification or must complete required NYS training prior to start date
• High School Diploma or GED
• Med Tech Experience Preferred
• Prefer prior experience with Assisted Living
• Able to use computer, medical software, and word processing programs.

Hourly range: $17.00 – $18.00 (depends on experience)
