This rewarding career involves administering oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following physician orders, and complying with all regulations and facility policies.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered, under supervision
  • Follow the “five rights” of medication administration
  • Accurately document medication administration
  • Monitor and report reactions or side effects
  • Administer PRN medications per regulations and policies
Qualifications
