Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for residents in a senior living setting.

In this role you will administer meds per orders, maintain MAR/TAR real-time records, and observe residents during passes while upholding infection control and safety standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills a must.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.65
