Qualifications

• Must have completed Medication Nursing Assistant program and NH MNA license.
• Ability to think, act and intervene independently in routine and emergency situations.
• Must be self-motivated and organized with minimal errors.
• Experience with dementia care preferred.
• Willing to learn and flexible to work holidays and weekends.
• Current BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatment within licensed scope.
• Keeps medications locked in cabinet or drawer; keys with staff.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility, including transfers.
• Observes changes in residents' condition and reports to nurse on duty.
• Assists residents to dining room or serves trays in apartments; helps with laundry.
• Participates in recreation activities and responds to emergencies.
• Documents resident incidents and assists with care planning.
• Orientates new residents and staff; performs other duties as assigned.
