Job summary

Homestead of Knoxville seeks a full-time Medication Manager to deliver safe medication administration and direct care for residents. The role includes daily living assistance and collaboration with the care team.

Direct care responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, meal service, and other tasks assigned by the Executive Director. Certification in medication management or completion of the 10-hour course is required on hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10-hour Medication Manager course required upon hire.
• Direct care responsibilities with residents, including daily living activities.

As a direct care worker that handles medications, you will be required to provide direct care to facility residents, primarily for their activities of daily living. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, mealtime service, and all other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course (if not held already) is required upon hire.
