Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Medication History Tech to support accurate medication histories at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This 40-hour position operates primarily in the evening, with rotation including some weekends and holidays.

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will perform pharmacy-related functions and ensure quality pharmaceutical care for patients, while meeting regulatory requirements and participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
• Additional clinical coursework or training is preferred.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Pharmacist, performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures.
