Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medication History Pharmacy Technician for our Emergency Department team at Baptist Medical Center Downtown and South.

This full-time position involves interviewing patients to obtain and document home med histories, working with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians, and using Telepharmacy technology in a fast-paced environment. Florida RPT is required, with 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) preferred.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication history support under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Perform medication history interviews.
• Document information in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
