Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medication History Pharmacy Technician for the Downtown and South locations in Jacksonville, FL. The role is full-time, three 12-hour shifts weekly, in the Emergency Department, interfacing with patients and a clinical team.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience, Florida RPT, and a CPT certification is preferred. Prior telepharmacy exposure is a plus; travel between Baptist South and Downtown may occur.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• RPT in Florida required; CPT preferred.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication history support under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Perform medication history interviews.
• Document information in the electronic medical record.
• Communicate with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
