Job summary

TrueScripts Management Services is seeking a Cost Containment Coordinator to help members access the lowest cost medications through coordinated programs. You will engage with members, providers, and pharmacies to secure affordable options while maintaining compliant, timely documentation.

Experience in pharmacy or insurance benefits is preferred; strong communication and confidentiality are essential. The role supports the Clinical Director and the Cost Containment Team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, pharmacy, insurance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or insurance benefits related setting preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician experience is helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Understanding of plan benefits.

Responsibilities

• Identify lowest cost medications for members and coordinate the cost containment process.
• Outreach to members to gather required information for lowest cost options.
• Communicate with physician offices and pharmacies to obtain appropriate medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation within systems and workflows.
• Monitor program queues and complete tasks within established timeframes.
• Perform administrative duties including faxing, mailing, scanning, and data entry.
• Protect member privacy and confidentiality of all information.
• Collaborate with Clinical team to assist with affordability initiatives.
• Provide high level of service and compassion for members facing financial challenges.
