South County Mental Health Center is seeking a Medication Clinic Assistant to support physicians and clients in an outpatient behavioral health setting. The role requires organization, compassion, and accuracy in a fast-paced medical environment where quality care matters.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, coordinating urgent care, scheduling, preparing documentation, maintaining EHR records, and participating in quality improvement teams.

South County Mental Health Center is seeking a Medication Clinic Assistant to support our physicians and clients in an outpatient mental health setting. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment where quality care and attention to detail truly matter.

What You’ll Do

• Assisting physicians with the daily care of outpatient clients
• Responding to and coordinating care during urgent or crisis situations, including medication concerns

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Healthcare-related experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and typing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field
• At least one year of experience in a mental health or medical setting
• Medical Assistant or CNA certification
• Bilingual skills a plus

PAY AND HOURS

This is a full-time M-F position paying $17.00 per hour, with eligibility for the full benefits package.
