Highgate Senior Living in Prescott, AZ is hiring a Medication Assistant (AZ CCG) to support residents with safe medication administration and daily living activities. You will work closely with nurses, caregivers, families, and leadership to promote dignity and independence while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compassionate communication, and adherence to policy, with opportunities to grow within a values-driven, person-first organization.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Arizona Certified Caregiver (CCG) certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Current negative TB test.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Ability to meet Arizona/licensing requirements for the position.

Mansioni

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, policy, and applicable requirements.
• Document medication administration accurately and maintain required medication records.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or response to medications.
• Maintain accurate medication counts and follow controlled-medication procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, dining, hydration, and companionship.
• Follow infection control, safety, emergency, and resident-rights procedures.
• Use healthcare software and electronic documentation tools accurately and consistently.
• Communicate clearly with nurses, caregivers, families, pharmacies, and other care partners.
