Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Medication Assistant for full-time evening shifts in Cedar Park, TX. You will maintain, order, and assist with residents' medication needs, document in MAR, and support daily living activities across Assisted Living and possibly Memory Care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in AL and Memory Care with daily living, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and care coordination with health professionals as needed.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
