Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a dedicated team member to assist residents with medication needs and daily living in a full-time role. You will help with medication administration, documentation, and daily activities while maintaining safety and compassionate care.

You will coordinate with healthcare professionals, monitor residents, and respond to requests with courtesy. CPR certification is preferred, and prior elder care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with elderly population preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and taking vital signs.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
