Job summary

Leisure Living - Salem is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide medication administrative support to residents and assist with daily tasks. The role includes taking phone calls and helping with cleaning and meal preparation, with training available if not yet certified as a medication aide.

If not trained as a medication aide, facility may provide certification.

Essential Duties

Administer oral medications such as capsules, tablets, liquids and topical medications such as eye drops, ear drops, nose drops, ointments, and other skin preparations.

Takes and records vital signs. Records and reports any observations and changes in resident’s condition to the charge nurse.
