Job summary

Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time Medication Aide to administer medications as ordered by the attending physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role supports residents with compassionate care in a facility dedicated to dignity and quality service.

The position offers 7:00a–3:00p shifts with a wage of $25.00 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, and education opportunities to advance your nursing career.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Follow established nursing standards, community policies, procedures and state requirements.
