Qualifications

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and continence.
  2. Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
  3. Follow department protocol for documentation.
  4. Prioritize and adjust assignments throughout the shift based on needs.
  5. Perform duties within the assigned environment as directed by Tabitha.
  6. Additional functions:
    • Med Aide: Prepare and administer medications, treatments, oxygen, inhalers, etc., as ordered. Administer PRN medications under RN supervision. Evaluate emergencies and perform CPR if trained.
    • Bath Aide: Assist with bathing while promoting independence.
    • Functional Maintenance Aide: Perform exercises, activities of daily living, ambulation, and range of motion as prescribed, and assist with functional activities learning and improvement.
Qualifications

Communication: Ability to understand and follow instructions, read care plans, and interact effectively.

Physical Requirements: Ability to access work area safely, perform duties with equipment, and pass a physical exam demonstrating strength and agility.

Age: At least 18 years old.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 6 months as aide or caregiver preferred.

Credentials: CNA certification in good standing required; Med Aide certification if applicable. CPR certification required. All certifications must be maintained, and vaccination requirements met.
