Job summary

Sentinel of Mohegan Lake is seeking a full-time Medication Aide to administer medications and support residents' health and well-being in a compassionate assisted living setting.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication to ensure safe, accurate medication handling and compliance with regulatory guidelines. On-site position with full-time benefits and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medication administration experience preferred (but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain proper documentation and medication records.
• Monitor and manage medication inventory.
• Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery.
• Observe residents for any changes and report concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
