Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide medication assistance and personal care to residents in our Oregon community. The position emphasizes resident well-being, safety, and adherence to care plans within a supportive team.

You will work with residents, families, and staff to maintain quality of life, monitor condition changes, and document care activities while upholding Residents’ Rights and following state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver or CNA for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
• Medication Aide training (and certification where required)

Responsibilities

• Provides medication assistance for residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy
• Assists in maintaining the medication cart and storage room in a neat and orderly manner
• Accepts responsibility for accurate medication counts and for the security of the medication cart and medication storage room
• May assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engages residents in meaningful conversation and activities while providing personal care and medication assistance
• Responds to resident needs promptly and provides or obtains assistance as necessary
• Upholds Residents’ Rights and company care philosophy
• Completes documentation such as medication administration records and incident reports timely
• Assists in dining room during meal times and supports participation in activities
