Job summary

Mary Marshall Assisted Living, part of Volunteers of America National Services, is seeking a Trained Medication Assistant to responsibly administer prescribed medications under supervision. The role offers a supportive team and a structured environment that prioritizes resident care and regulatory compliance.

Salary ranges from $19.60 to $21.85 per hour, with an early shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, located in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered or certified as a nursing assistant.
• Completion of a state approved training program in medication administration with certificate.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Follow shift routines and policy regarding vital signs and medication administration.
• Prepare, administer and chart medications accurately and timely.
• Obtain and report information on residents’ conditions and new orders.
• Communicate with team members and escalate changes to the nurse.
