Job summary

Regency Newcastle is a retirement and assisted living community seeking a compassionate medication aide to support residents’ daily well-being, medication administration, and social activities.

As a medication aide, you will report to the wellness director and coordinate with physicians and families to ensure timely care while maintaining high infection control standards and a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA License.
• Six months of experience in senior caregiving or medication administration (med pass).
• CPR/BLS certification encouraged or obtainable.
• Compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living; monitor vital signs.
• Complete nursing treatments and document care.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and families to ensure medications are received promptly.
• Store medications and keep the medication room clean and orderly.
• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs and infection control procedures.
• Support residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and home-like environment.
