Job summary

Rose Senior Living in Novi, MI is seeking a Medication Aide/CNA to join our Clinical department on a full-time, hourly basis. The role administers medications as prescribed, documents effects, and assists with resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED and at least one year of medication-passing experience in an assisted living or memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medication-passing experience in an assisted living or senior living community.
• High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care or skilled setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort of residents.
• The Medication Assistant administers medications as prescribed by the physician, documents the administration, the medication effectiveness, and any noted adverse reactions or side effects under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
