Job summary

CMT-Assisted Living in St. Peters Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to administer medications per physician orders under nursing supervision. You will follow established policies, ensure proper labeling, documentation, and reporting of any errors.

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacists to maintain resident safety and quality care. Requires state-licensed Medication Aide and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general policies and nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures governing medication administration.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered.
• Verify resident identity before administering medications and report any errors or adverse reactions.
• Maintain documentation, charts, and reports related to medication administration.
