Job summary

Bethesda Gardens Frisco is seeking a full-time Medication Aide for the 2pm–10pm shift. You will set up medications, pass them to residents, monitor MARs, and assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and safety.

The role requires compassion, independence, and strong knowledge of medication administration. State-required CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly residents.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize emergencies.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and MAR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up medications and pass them to residents per policies.
• Perform narcotic counts at shift start/end.
• Order medications with the pharmacy per community policies.
• Update MARs and physician orders; document changes.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily tasks.

Provides care and assistance to residents in a compassionate, quality customer service environment that preserves dignity. Must be able to stoop, bend, and reach. Must be able to lift residents in excess of 100 pounds with assistance.
