Job summary

EOSIS is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide for the 2nd shift in East Grand Forks, MN. You will assist with medication administration, support patients in recovery, and collaborate with nurses and counselors to maintain a safe care environment.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and training in medication administration; CPR/first aid are preferred. The role offers full-time hours, shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, and compensation in the $19–$22/hour range with

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School education or GED.
• Training in medication administration.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred.
• CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse.
• Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database.
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures.
• May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Record and restock medication inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.

Pay: $19 - $22 / hour
Shift: Full-Time, 2nd Shift - Hours: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
