Job summary

Cambridge House is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to assist the clinical team with administering medications and providing specialized care to residents. You will ensure accurate dosing, maintain records, and monitor residents for adverse reactions, working closely with nurses and physicians in a senior care setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and state Medication Aide certification preferred; prior healthcare experience in senior care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with medication administration in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to document accurately and report adverse reactions.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and document doses.
• Provide care for residents including ADLs as needed.
• Maintain medication records and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Monitor residents for side effects and changes in condition.
• Safely store medications according to policy and regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines for medication administration.
