Job summary

GetHired, Inc. in Washington is looking for a compassionate Med Aide to join our care team.

You will administer medications, provide personal care, and assist residents with Activities of Daily Living according to individualized care plans, while communicating with families and medical professionals. In this role you will supervise caregivers on shift to ensure all service plan tasks are completed, maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA, and document changes in residents’ conditions promptly.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, self-motivated Med Aide to join our team. In this role, you will administer medications, provide personal care, and carry out Activities of Daily Living (ADL) services according to individualized resident service plans. You will also communicate with families and medical professionals while supervising caregivers on shift to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Administer medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and Medication Administration Records (MAR).
• Documentation: Record completed daily tasks and promptly report any observed changes in resident conditions.
• Shift Supervision: Lead and manage caregivers on duty to ensure all service plan tasks are fully met.
• Compliance & Quality: Maintain local, state, and federal compliance, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
