Avir Trilogy at French Home in San Antonio, TX is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to assist with medication administration and resident care in our senior living community.

You will work under licensed nurses, monitor vital signs, support daily living activities, maintain accurate records, and help implement individualized care plans as part of our interdisciplinary team.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a certified Medication Aide training program.
• Minimum of 6 months of healthcare experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Ability to lift, transfer and reposition residents as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the administration of medications as ordered by physicians, under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
• Provide basic care and hygiene to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and ambulating.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident care.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations and apply basic life support techniques as needed.
