Job summary

The W Group is seeking an experienced Medication Aide to support residents in our New York community. The role involves administering medications on schedule, documenting in ALIS, and coordinating with pharmacy and families. Weekend shifts are required, with a 1:00 PM–9:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medication Aide or administering medications in an assisted living or healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with assisted living policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols carefully.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled shift, including weekends.
• ALIS experience is a plus, but not required (we'll train you).

Responsibilities

• Administer and assist residents with medications accurately and on schedule, following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Document all medications given in ALIS and maintain complete, accurate records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or reactions to medication and report concerns promptly to the supervisor or nurse.
• Communicate regularly with the pharmacy, residents, families, and management staff about medication needs, refills, and changes.
• Help keep the medication cart and storage areas organized, secure, and stocked.
• Treat every resident with dignity, kindness, and respect, helping them feel supported and at home.

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 Per Hour
Start: Immediately available

What You'll Do
