Job summary

The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island is seeking a Hospitality-focused Medication Aide to join our nursing team. We offer Full-Time and Part-Time positions with Day (7a-7p) and Night (7p-7a) shifts and require weekend availability.

Compensation starts at $20+ per hour, with vaccination verification or approved exemption required for employment. Join a team dedicated to quality of life for seniors and direct care to residents, including supervision of Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Qualifications

• Med aide certification or similar experience.
• Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and promote independent living.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and support care plan development and reassessment.
• Provide daily reporting to the Director of Health Services on conditions and nursing needs.
• Deliver nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Ensure preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative services and coordinate with other disciplines.

The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island is recruiting for a hospitality focused Medication Aide to join our team! We are looking for a Full-Time and Part-Time Medication Aides with a passion for serving seniors.

Open Shifts include:

Day Shift (7a-7p)

Night Shift (7p- 7a).

All shifts require weekend availability.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our nursing team and help care for a special group of residents at The Bayshore on HHI!

This position provides direct care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Hourly wage starting at $20+/hr.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Med Aide:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
