Job summary

The Delaney at The Green is seeking a Medication Aide for a part-time night shift (11pm–7am) to assist with medication administration and resident care under RN/LPN supervision. You will support daily living activities and ensure safety during treatments and routines.

Qualifications include state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training, completion of the Medicine Aide Course, and strong English communication with basic arithmetic. EEO Employer.

Qualifications

• State-approved geriatric nursing assistant training is required; prior geriatric aide experience preferred; registration with State registry.
• Complete State-approved Medicine Aide Course; continuation education if applicable.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic; document care.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.
• Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.

The Delaney at The Green is recruiting for Medication Aide. The Certified Medicine Aide assists with the administration of medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

Salary: $23/hour

Schedule: Part-time opportunity, 11pm-7am shift
