Clarendale Clayton in Clayton, MO is seeking a Medication Aide who works under nurse supervision to assist residents with daily living and medication administration.

This full-time overnight role (11pm to 7:30am) offers benefits including 401K, health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and more, plus ongoing in-house training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior senior living nursing aide experience is preferred.
• L1Ma certification is required.
• Successful completion of in-house training is required to maintain employment.
• Must be reliable with attendance and professional appearance.

Responsabilités

• Passing medications
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, and carries out procedures as instructed.
• Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
• Transfers, transports, and escorts residents as needed.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.
• Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.
• Completes montly online trainings

Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for aMedication Aide.The Medication Aide aunder the direct supervision of a nurse. Assists licensed nursing staff by performing routine care duties and activities of daily living.

Salary: $20/hour

Schedule: Full-time opportunity OVERNIGHT, 11pm - 7:30 am

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Medication Aide:

• Passing medications
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.

• Must be reliable and dependable with attendance.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and communication.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
