Medication Aide Responsibilities include:

1. Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
2. Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
3. Assists with setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards.
4. May assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
5. Accompanies residents on shopping trips, medical appointments, and other outings.
6. Assists with laundry service.
7. Be tactful and courteous when dealing with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
8. Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
