ChenMed is seeking a Medication Adherence Technician to engage with patients and providers to identify barriers to adherence, coordinate prescription processing, and support delivery of organized, understandable medication regimens. The role partners with clinical pharmacists and physicians to improve adherence outcomes.
The position emphasizes outbound outreach, data accuracy, and a proactive approach to removing adherence barriers, with additional travel up to 10% as needed.

The Medication Adherence Technician applies knowledge and skills to engage in in-depth discussions with patients about medication adherence to identify and resolve patient adherence barriers. The incumbent in this role works with providers, clinical pharmacists and the pharmacy department to provide a coordinated adherence packaged product for patients requiring additional support establishing and maintaining compliance to their medication regimens. He/She is accountable for providing an unsurpassed patient experience by communicating to patients/providers on program specifics and arranging for prescription processing within the pharmacy; with the ultimate goal for patients to obtain an organized product they will understand allowing them to reduce or eliminate any adherence challenges. The Medication Adherence Technician focuses on providing consistent visibility and a presence to the target clients and patients.
High School Diploma or equivalent required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
Must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Medication Assistant with a minimum 6 months of related work experience OR
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a medication dispensing/pharmacy setting or call center
$14.3 - $20.42 Hourly
The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
