You will work with a mentor to advise on pricing and alternatives based on financial analysis and policy, and prepare accurate new business proposals using underwriting tools.

The role supports sales and risk guidelines, with duties including documentation, project work, and potential process improvements. 40 hours weekly, full-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in underwriting pricing methodologies and funding arrangements.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize analytical and independent thinking skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.
• Experience providing clear written and verbal communications.
• Experience working with standard Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate analysis and risk assessment for new Medicare Advantage opportunities.
• Works with mentor/manager to advise on pricing and alternatives based on financial analysis and strategy.
• Utilizes underwriting tools to produce accurate new business proposals.
• Applies underwriting guidelines and escalates exceptions as needed.
• Assists sales in explaining strategy, rate development and underwriting policy.
• Produces timely customer documents and case information.
• Supports department projects and process improvements.
