Job summary

Verse Medical, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Senior DME Compliance & Accreditation Specialist to own Medicare audit and accreditation readiness. This on-site role requires hands-on experience with audits and survey readiness, including documentation and coordination with auditors.

The ideal candidate has direct Medicare audit experience on the supplier/provider side and has worked with CMS-approved DMEPOS accreditation bodies. Hybrid schedule with in-office duties.

Qualifications

• Direct Medicare audit experience on the supplier/provider side.
• Experience with CMS-approved DMEPOS accreditation organizations.
• 3+ years of healthcare compliance experience.
• Experience hosting external auditors or regulators under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day compliance tracking—licenses, certifications, documentation, deadlines, and corrective actions.
• Serve as on-site lead for Medicare, state, and accreditation site visits—host auditors and manage walkthroughs from start to finish.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation across Medicare DMEPOS Supplier Standards at all times.
• Run internal mock audits and pre-visit walkthroughs to close gaps before reviews.
• Coordinate with accreditation organizations (e.g., TCT, ACHC, CHAP, BOC) on survey prep and renewals.
• Track corrective actions from audits or surveys through to resolution.
