Job summary

Talentify in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented office professional to prepare and submit documentation for Medicare audits and manage the documentation flow through contractor review. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate Medicare policy to staff.

The candidate will also adjust AR in accordance with Medicare policy, support back-up coverage, and generate Audit Delivery System reports to monitor progress and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• General office skills including PC proficiency, data entry, typing, filing, and basic math.
• Ability to learn, research, and apply insurance policy and medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; telephone etiquette.
• Detail-oriented with effective multitasking abilities.
• Positive, cooperative attitude when working with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit documentation for audits to Medicare contractors.
• Pursue additional documentation and corrections as needed during audits.
• Explain Medicare policies and procedures to field staff.
• Adjust accounts receivable in line with Medicare policy.
• Provide backup coverage when other employees are out.
• Process Audit Delivery System reports.
