Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Manager for Medicare Compliance Advisory to serve as an expert and day-to-day advisor on CMS requirements. The role ensures accurate interpretation, timely completion of assignments, and consistent documentation of compliance risks and corrective actions.

The role involves executing the Medicare Compliance Program, translating complex federal and state requirements into actionable guidance for business stakeholders, and supporting audit readiness and regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Compliance, regulatory, operations, or risk management within a regulated industry.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicare regulations, CMS guidance, compliance expectations (Parts C & D).
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Medicare Compliance Program in alignment with CMS and state regulations to prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance and FWA.
• Provide regulatory guidance and advisory support to business and compliance leadership; track issues and support audit readiness.
• Develop regulatory communications, responses to inquiries, and disclosures; liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Support preparation, validation, and submission of regulatory reports, attestations, and filings with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify compliance risks, evaluate business processes, and propose mitigation strategies; lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
