The position will assume responsibility for the Medicare Part A and B government reimbursement and compliance activities across Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System. Researches and analyzes new and existing Medicare Part A and B, and other government regulations and policies to identify practice strategies and ensure compliance. May perform Medicare cost reporting responsibilities, government reporting responsibilities, and compliance analysis. Position will interact with administration, physician leadership, accounting, revenue cycle, compliance office, and other operational personnel throughout Mayo Clinic.

Master's degree in healthcare, business administration, finance, data sciences, or accounting, and/or CPA with two years of experience in Medicare reimbursement, Data Science, or Bachelor's degree with five years of Medicare reimbursement or accounting/finance related experience.
Previous external consulting or auditing experience, working with a hospital system, integrated delivery system, life sciences company, or Medicare contractor is desirable. Requires a high level of administrative skills. Qualified candidate needs to have outstanding communication skills and demonstrate excellent team building skills, be assertive, highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Travel to other Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health Systems sites will be required. Detailed knowledge of cost reporting software, PC applications, financial modeling, Medicare and other government regulations.
