Title: Medical Writer – Life Sciences II (Global Scientific & Value Content)
Location: Rahway, NJ (Remote)
Duration: 12 Months with possibilities of extension
Job Description:
This role supports the GSVC Team in developing resources such as slide decks, Medical Information Letters (MILs), Verbal Response Documents (VRDs), and Infographics for use by the Field Medical Organization and Global Medical Information Staff. It involves participating in transformational initiatives within the fast-paced environment of Value & Implementation Global Medical and Value Capabilities (V&I GMVC).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain GSVC resources aligned with annual plans for GMSA Field Medical and Global Medical Information staff, under guidance from senior colleagues.
- Review GSVC materials for relevance, scientific accuracy, and consistency with scientific literature, internal information, and company standards.
- Analyze and evaluate the presentation of scientific and therapeutic data for internal stakeholders responding to Medical Information Requests (MIRs).
- Support innovative communication solutions for GSC in various formats based on customer needs.
- Assist in designing and developing infographics and digital media for GSVC content.
- Advocate for evolving customer needs, especially for GMSA Field Medical and GMI staff.
- Lead specific tasks within a team, prioritizing deliverables and maintaining high-quality work.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to bring new perspectives and innovations to scientific content communication.
- Evaluate new technologies to support GSVC organizational needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or PhD in life sciences.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in process- and systems-related coordination.
- Experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across geographies and functions.
- Proven ability to independently design and produce slide decks supporting stakeholder use.
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and independence in work.
- Ability to learn quickly and solve new problems independently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
