Job description

Join to apply for the Medical Writer III role at Katalyst CRO.

Responsibilities

1. Checks claims in advertising and promotional documents against published sources before projects are submitted for Medical/Regulatory/Legal review.
2. Ensures that suitable references are used to support all product and promotional claims in text, graphs, charts, tables, and statistical analyses.
3. Creates annotated documents for submitting/linking projects in Veeva PromoMats.
4. Collaborates with writers, editors, account managers, and Veeva submission specialists to ensure accuracy, currency, and compliance of project submissions.
5. Researches promotional claims and performs data mining, working with Clinical Study Reports (CSRs) and resources from the client's Library.
6. Organizes and manages references on the A3 server.
7. Links claims to published sources in Veeva PromoMats as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher (medical-related field such as biology or chemistry is a plus) or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• 3+ years of medical fact-checking experience.
• Ability to research, understand, and interpret medical and scientific data.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical promotion and AMA style guidelines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and MS Word; familiarity with Veeva PromoMats platform is a plus.
