Join Our Team as a Medical Wheelchair Van Driver at Pafford Medical Services

Pafford Medical Services is now accepting applications for a Medical Wheelchair Van Driver in Northwest Arkansas. The driver provides patient transportation to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to transport patients to medical treatments, outside appointments, and as requested by the Communications Center or Transportation Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to listen and understand spoken and written communication
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Minimum age of 21 years
• U.S. citizenship
• Successful criminal background check

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• CPR certification (within 30 days of employment)
• First Aid certification (within 30 days of employment)
• Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (CEVO) (within 30 days of employment)

Physical Requirements

• Visual acuity meeting Department of Motor Vehicles standards
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
• Ability to pull or push a wheelchair up to 350 pounds
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Clear speech and communication skills
